Van Office Refurbishment

The Challenge

To refurbish our Van department located on the first floor directly adjacent to the warehouse that is in constant operation 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There was a need to value engineer this particular project due to budget restraints, so it was agreed for it to be run during the normal business hours of 08:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs Mon – Fri. This hadn’t been tried before as it has been a strict policy that no work will interfere with the day to day running of the business.

The Solution

Skyline Green proposed an approach that on paper ticked all the boxes of concern in a positive way and the reality was no different. Since this project, refurbishment works are now being carried out between these agreed times unless found to affect the staff in a negative way.

down time to the business without any negative responses from surrounding personnel.
